About the project

Pippin is a California-based startup reimagining real estate through technology, offering dignified, affordable housing as a response to the region's housing crisis. The brand draws inspiration from retrofuturism, especially the atompunk movement, blending mid-century nostalgia with a hopeful vision of the future.

Our challenge was to translate that duality into a visual identity. We crafted a logo and typographic system that echoes the optimism of imagined futures, using bold colors and refined graphic motifs to highlight Pippin's innovative spirit.

To ensure coherence across its ecosystem, we developed a brand flexible enough to support sub-brands like Rent the Backyard, a line of ADU housing units, while maintaining a clear, unifying personality.
